Dog-friendly amenities
We love it when four-legged friends stay with us. We provide a pet-friendly room complete with pet bed and water bowl. Our rooms all have fully-equipped kitchens, so you can prepare meals or snacks. A wide-screen TV and superfast free wifi will keep everyone entertained. Book a room with us and you have it for the full 24 hours (unlike many other hotels or serviced apartments around the United Kingdom). Check in at 2pm. Check out at 2pm.
The beautiful Queen’s Park is a stone’s throw from our hometel. It’s the perfect green space for dog-walking. You can park on-site in our private car park from £13 per night. We’ve got EV charging facilities for our Second Nature Southampton guests too. Dogs are welcome in our restaurant, Winnie’s, but please keep them on a lead.
Hometel rules for pets
We’re happy for you and your furry friends to stay with us. Pets under 35kg are welcome, but if you have another kind of pet just reach out to us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
A one-off charge of £25 (inc. VAT) per stay applies for non-Hometel Club members. We love all furry (and non-furry) creatures and want to make sure you have an enjoyable stay with us. We also want to make sure you, and all of our roommates, are safe at all times.

Queen’s Park is right by our hometel in Southampton city centre. The New Forest National Park is a short drive away and it’s a wonderful place to explore with your dog. Many beaches in Hampshire are dog-friendly like Hurst Split near Keyhaven, and Hordle Cliff near Milford-on-Sea.
Shopping Centre
Shopping destinations like West Quay Shopping Centre in Southampton and Port Solent near Portsmouth welcome dogs. But do check specific shops for their policies.
