The 24-hour stay
No 4pm wait or 11am scramble.
We give you a full day in your bedroom - 2pm to 2pm - so you can arrive and leave with more freedom and flexibility. This easier check-in and check-out is one of the ways we work to your schedule.
Make a positive impact
You don't have to think about your footprint because we already did.
We develop all of our own hometels. This gives us greater control over their efficiency and means we can fully account for all of our carbon emissions.
Low energy and waste reduction are our default settings, and all Second Nature hometels are operationally carbon neutral - we reduce what we can, then compensate for the rest through certified carbon offsetting.

From room2 to Second Nature
Some guests will know us as room2.
Does any of this look or sound familiar? It’s because you might know us as room2.
room2 began with a simple belief: hospitality should fit your life, not force you to fit into hotel routines. That belief remains our foundation, but it means so much more today than it did when we started in 2015. The way people live, travel, and work has changed. As has what it means to ‘be a sustainable hotel’. room2 no longer says enough about what we are building, or how we want to show up for people, places, and planet. Second Nature does.
Second Nature gives our vision of deep-caring hospitality the scope it needs.
What’s the same from room2:
- The space to live fully. Rooms support short stopovers or longer stays, kitchens are designed to be used, and arrival and departure times still flex around your schedule.
What’s evolved from room2:
- How we care. Our Five Cares provide us with a framework that informs the long-term choices we make and the responsible impact we want to have. It gives us the ability to go deeper.
For example: sustainability is crucial, but it’s just the baseline for a more comprehensive commitment. Everything - materials, energy, waste - must be managed with precision from day one, ensuring comfort never comes at the planet’s expense.
It’s why care is Second Nature. It’s what we practice in every day, detail, and decision, so that through the services, spaces, and practices we create, guests can go with their flow, feel completely themselves, and make an impact.
