Easter Sunday lunch

Easter isn’t only about chocolate eggs. Once you’ve had your morning walk, you have to head to a local pub for a Sunday roast. It’s practically law!

There are some excellent pubs in and around Chiswick. But book ahead as they’ll be busy on Easter Sunday. Family-friendly venues, riverside views, exceptional food – all of that and more is possible.

  • The Lamb: Just off Chiswick High Road, The Lamb combines traditional pub charm with a smart dining room and a great Sunday roast menu.

  • Bull’s Head: Set right on the river at Strand-on-the-Green, this is one of the most scenic pubs in the area.

  • The Hound: Housed in a converted Victorian police station on Chiswick High Road, The Hound offers a contemporary take on the Sunday roast.

  • Hole in the Wall: Tucked away on Sutton Lane North, this one’s cosier and quieter. It’s known for its seasonal pub dishes and warm, friendly atmosphere. A top spot for a slower Easter Sunday afternoon.
