A guide to bottomless brunch in Southampton

Planning a brunch day out? Here are Southampton’s best bottomless brunch spots for 2026, plus where to stay nearby so the good times don't have to end at brunch.

Bottomless brunch in Southampton: what to expect

It's Saturday, just after 1pm. The table's booked, the first round of prosecco is on its way and, for the next two hours, nobody needs to think about the bill.

That's the idea behind a bottomless brunch in Southampton. You pay one set price, choose a brunch dish and get unlimited drinks for a fixed window, which is usually 90 minutes or two hours. Most places in the city charge somewhere between £30 and £40 per person.

Prosecco and cocktails are almost always included, and many venues add beer, cider, wine or an Aperol spritz to the list. Most also pour mocktails and soft drinks. Food is normally one dish each, although some restaurants replace it with small plates or tapas.

What time does bottomless brunch start in Southampton?

Most daytime sittings start between 11am and 2pm, and Saturday brunch is by far the busiest slot of the week. Sunday sessions usually begin later, often around 3pm, while a few bars run a Friday late night brunch from 7pm instead.

Bottomless brunch in the city centre

The city centre suits a day with more than one plan. You can shop along Above Bar Street, visit SeaCity Museum or the John Hansard Gallery on Guildhall Square, then sit down for a long lunch with your shopping bags under the table.

Mango Thai

Mango Thai replaces eggs and toast with Thai tapas, serving bottomless prawn and vegetable crackers alongside two small plates each. Bang bang cauliflower and vegetable tempura are popular choices that also work well for vegetarian groups. Drinks include prosecco and a selection of cocktails, and the brunch runs on Saturdays for around £36 to £40 per person.

Slug & Lettuce

Slug & Lettuce on Above Bar Street runs brunch seven days a week, with berry pancake tacos and doughnut stacks as the popular picks and a plant-based breakfast for vegan guests. Drinks include prosecco, Aperol spritz, mimosas, Amstel, mocktails and soft drinks. Prices range from about £34 to £43, and the premium upgrade adds pornstar martinis.

Turtle Bay

Turtle Bay on Guildhall Square brings Caribbean flavours. Choose a breakfast roti, ackee on sourdough or a burger, then enjoy two hours of bottomless cocktails, prosecco and Red Stripe. Expect to pay around £33 to £36. The roti also comes with vegan sausage, and the bar runs cocktail masterclasses if you'd rather learn to make the drinks yourself.

Bottomless brunch on Oxford Street

Oxford Street is home to many of Southampton's independent restaurants, and its terraces fill up quickly on a warm weekend. Come here if you'd rather support a local business than a national chain.

Medbar

Medbar treats brunch more like a night out, offering a Friday late night brunch from 7pm, a Saturday day party from 2pm and a Sunday chilled brunch from 3pm. You get one Mediterranean dish, with the pizzas being especially popular, including a vegan option. Drinks come from a menu of around 20 cocktail jugs, plus beer, cider and prosecco, for about £35 per person.

XOXO

XOXO serves brunch from 9am, and the food is the main reason people return, particularly the fried chicken pancakes and the blueberry and white chocolate pancakes. Drinks arrive by the glass rather than the jug, ranging from prosecco and pints of Amstel to bottled beer and pineapple Tommy's margaritas. It costs around £30 per person, with vegan and gluten-free options available.

Bottomless brunch in Westquay

Westquay is the easy option for a large group because it's central, well connected and used to tables of twelve.

All Bar One

All Bar One serves brunch daily until 4pm for £35, including a brunch dish and unlimited prosecco, daiquiris and spritzes.

Boom Battle Bar

For around £35, Boom Battle Bar gives you a street food main, a loaded side to share and 90 minutes of cocktails, fizz, draught beer and cider. There's a DJ alongside arcade machines and darts, and because the theme changes every six weeks, it's the obvious choice for a themed bottomless brunch.

TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays runs brunch all day, every day, from around £30 for two hours of American-style food with prosecco and cocktails.

Las Iguanas

At Las Iguanas, you pick a burger, quesadilla or Bahian katsu curry, followed by two hours of cocktails such as the pornstar daiquiri, plus beer and fizz. Prices start at £39.95, or £29.95 for the alcohol-free version, and the separate vegan menu makes it an easy choice for plant-based groups.

Bottomless brunch in Ocean Village

Ocean Village swaps the high street for the marina, with yachts sitting just beyond the terrace and plenty of space to linger once the drinks window closes.

Figurati

Figurati is a stylish Italian restaurant on the waterfront that was named Southampton's best restaurant in 2023 and 2024. For a special occasion, it's a strong candidate for the best bottomless brunch in Southampton. Brunch is a monthly event with two hours of premium spirits and cocktails, a DJ and a live saxophonist, while the kitchen is known for cicchetti, pizza and risotto. It's a more polished brunch experience than most, so expect to pay more and book early.

Bottomless brunch in Bedford Place

Bedford Place is Southampton's liveliest bar strip, relaxed in the afternoon and noticeably busier by evening. It's a short walk, bus or taxi ride from the centre, and it's the place to go if you want brunch to roll into a night out.

Funky Flamingo

Funky Flamingo has a garden-themed lounge and an 18+ roof terrace. From about £29.90, you get pizza, wraps or salt and pepper chicken, with bottomless drinks covering cocktails and prosecco. Weekend brunch starts at 1pm, and late night sittings run on Fridays and Saturdays.

Orange Rooms

Orange Rooms is the cocktail bar of the three, offering daily bottomless sessions across twelve drinks, including espresso martinis and daiquiris. It's the right choice if the drinks matter more to you than the food.

Where to stay for a Southampton brunch weekend

Brunch is easier when the walk home is short. Second Nature Southampton is an aparthotel within walking distance of Westquay and the city centre.

  • Book early for weekends. Saturday slots go first, so book a week or two ahead, or earlier for larger groups.
  • Check the drinks window. Most sessions run for 90 minutes or two hours, so arriving on time matters.
  • Mention dietary requirements when you book. Vegan and vegetarian dishes are much easier to arrange in advance.
  • Plan for non-drinkers. Most venues include mocktails and soft drinks.
  • Look midweek. Las Iguanas runs a student brunch on Wednesdays.

Booking tips for bottomless brunch in Southampton

Belfast's main sights tell you what the city wants to be known for. The entries tell you what it actually was, a working port town in Northern Ireland where reform, print and trade all happened a few feet from the high street. That version rewards slowing down, not a checklist.

Where is the cheapest bottomless brunch in Southampton?

Funky Flamingo, XOXO and TGI Fridays all start at around £30 per person. If nobody in your group is drinking, the alcohol-free brunch at Las Iguanas costs £29.95.
